The RGS Family of Schools Celebrates Comic Relief
Today, The RGS Worcester Family of Schools held a very successful non-uniform day to raise funds for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. Pupils were encouraged to come to School in home clothes or RGS Sports kit and try their best to wear something red. This year, pupils took part in fundraising activities organised by our pupil-led Charity Committee, such as a staff vs pupils Netball match.
Comic Relief supports amazing projects and organisations which are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world, including for people impacted by poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, the drought in East Africa, or the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey. We are so proud to be able to support this fundraising effort each year.
Thank you to our pupils, teachers and support staff for making this fundraising day possible. Thank you also for your individual contributions to this worthwhile fundraising event.
