Under 13 Boys Triumph at Malvern Hockey Tournament

The RGS Under 13 Boys’ Hockey team delivered an exceptional performance at the Malvern College Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, competing against some of the strongest Hockey playing schools from the Midlands and South West.

After last year’s Under 13 Boys’ team reached the semi-finals, this year’s group went on to victory, scoring 15 goals and winning the final on a shuffle shootout.

Throughout six challenging fixtures, the team demonstrated impressive skill, determination, and teamwork, ultimately securing the tournament title. Their defensive resilience was a standout feature, conceding just three goals across all matches—a testament to their discipline and cohesion on the pitch.

The team now progresses to the regional finals to be held at the Nottingham Hockey Centre in March.
