The Good Schools Guide Visits RGS Worcester
RGS Worcester was delighted to welcome Ms Lucinda Wallis, a reviewer for The Good Schools Guide, for a visit to experience the welcoming, vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of RGS. Ms Wallis saw first-hand the exceptional teaching, Pastoral Care, and Co-curricular opportunities that make RGS Worcester so unique during her visit for a full day on Wednesday.
The day began with a meeting with the Headmaster, followed by in-depth discussions with key members of staff covering academic excellence, pastoral support, digital learning, and the extensive Co-curricular programme. Ms Wallis then embarked on a full tour led by School Captains Bella Gray and Sam Taylor, observing lessons across a range of subjects, from English and Maths to Computer Science and Textiles.
Immersing herself in school life, Ms Wallis joined Lower School pupils for lunch, where she had the opportunity to hear about their experiences and the strong sense of community that defines RGS Worcester. She also explored the thriving Co-curricular programme, learning about the variety of clubs and activities available. The visit concluded with a discussion with a number of pupils across Year groups and School Council members, offering further insight into student leadership and the many opportunities at RGS.
With The Good Schools Guide playing an influential role in school choice for prospective families, we look forward to the publication of the review. We were delighted to showcase the very best of RGS and hope Ms Wallis enjoyed her visit.
