Strong Rowing Performances at Worcester Head of the River

RGS rowers delivered a series of impressive performances at Worcester Head of the River last Saturday, with nine crews taking to the water and securing three victories.

The Open J16 4+, crewed by Sihan Fu, Zac Johnson, Oliver Maggs, and Cooper Collins, with Toby Prendergast coxing, put in a strong race to claim first place.

In the Open J18 4x- Band 2 category, Zac Jew, Matthew Ferris, Henry Welsby, and Michael Liu powered to victory.

Meanwhile, in the Women’s J18 4x-, Olivia Hodgson, Lucy Whitley, Martha Colclough, and Lottie Richardson demonstrated their strength and skill, finishing with a time that would have placed them second in the highly competitive Band 1 adult Women’s 4x- category.
