RGS Joins Worcester’s Big Parade 

In anticipation of the upcoming event ‘Worcester’s Big Parade’ – an art trail of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures on display throughout Worcester City in July, RGS Worcester delivered our superbly decorated Baby Elephant to the team at St Richard’s Hospice. 

The ‘ele-baby’ has been expertly decorated by the RGS Art Department, with an RGS Worcester inspired design, which for now, remains top-secret! St Richard’s Hospice commented: “Thank you for all your support, dedication and hard work in designing your ele-baby, he is simply stunning”, adding: “Our thanks go to you and your wonderful staff and students. RGS is without doubt one of the most significant supporters of St Richard’s Hospice and we are truly humbled by your continuous ongoing support. Hopefully your students realise how very special they are and the wonderful difference they have made to so many people’s lives.”

The Parade launches on 12 July with a march through the City and runs to 5 September 2021. Each of the elephants will then be auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice. Find out more about the trail here.
