Hockey Successes

We are delighted to announce that a group of talented RGS pupils represented Stourport Hockey Under Twelve Boys team in the prestigious National Club Hockey Finals. Their exceptional performance led them to secure the runner-up position, with Surbiton Hockey Club claiming the top spot.

Out of the eight outstanding players in the team, six are RGS pupils: Oliver, Ethan, Syd, Rapha, Euan (all from Year Seven), and Harrison (RGS The Grange). Their skills and dedication have shone brightly on the Hockey field whilst representing both Stourport Hockey Club and the School.

Success in Hockey continues with many of our Under 14 Girls who have proudly represented Worcestershire County Hockey this season. They have showcased their talents in six tournaments across the Midlands, with the recent one at Ratcliffe College being both enjoyable and immensely successful.

We are thrilled to witness our pupils’ continued passion and commitment to playing Hockey outside the dedicated Michaelmas term. Their achievements serve as a testament to their hard work and love for the game and will prepare them well for the next season ahead.
