A Retrospective Exhibition of RGS Art
Talented RGS artists have once again been invited by the Dean and Chapter of Worcester Cathedral to exhibit their work in the Chapter House of Worcester Cathedral over the Half term break. This year’s exhibition entitled ‘People and Places’, offers a unique opportunity for the Worcester community to gain insight into the retrospective work of our Sixth Form artists, showcasing some of the finest creative talent to emerge from RGS.
Unlike previous years, the pieces on display are all previously examined works, many of which have never been seen by the public. This makes the exhibition an exciting opportunity to appreciate the depth and breadth of artistic skill nurtured within the School.
Head of Art, Mrs Jo Hunt, commented: “We are thrilled to bring together a collection of work that represents the artistic journeys of our Sixth Form students. This exhibition is a celebration of their talent, creativity, and dedication, and we encourage everyone to take the time to visit and enjoy these exceptional pieces in such a stunning setting”.
The ‘People and Places’ exhibition will run from Saturday 15 February to Thursday 27 February, and we warmly invite you to visit and experience the impressive artwork on display.
