Open Morning Approaches at RGS Worcester
With the next RGS Worcester Open Morning arranged for Saturday 22 January, we are delighted to invite prospective pupils from all Year groups and their families to visit the School and discover the breadth of opportunity that RGS Worcester has to offer.
Our School Open Mornings are the ideal time to experience the learning environment, view the outstanding facilities and experience the welcoming atmosphere of RGS Worcester.
Our expert pupil tour guides will be able to show you around their School with pride, providing their own account of their experiences of school life. They will willingly answer questions, as will staff available during the Tour and afterwards over refreshments.
With more subjects at GCSE and Sixth Form available than any other school or college in Worcestershire, the pupils have so much choice so they can play to their strengths and really enjoy their academic programme. Each department will be ready and eager to welcome guests and share information about each subject, as well as demonstrate the academic ethos, focus on teaching and learning and use of digital technology.
There will be displays about the vast range of Co-curricular clubs ranging from Debating to Fencing and Dance to Film; it is certain there will be something to pique every interest! With nearly 20 sports, the Combined Cadet Force, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and over 175 School trips each year, there is so much for pupils to enjoy, while they develop skills of leadership, team work, resilience and determination.
There will also be an opportunity to hear from Headmaster, John Pitt, about the ethos and vision of the School, find out more about the award winning Careers provision, how we are leading the way with our Digital Learning Programme and the excellent Pastoral care and support we offer all of our pupils and their families.
Our Admissions team will also be on hand to offer guidance on the application process and answer questions, including those about Scholarships, Bursaries and Entrance Examinations.

We want the morning to be an enjoyable event for all and in the present circumstances, a safe one as well. Pre-registering your place will ensure that we can carefully manage the number of people arriving, spread out the Guided Tours across the site, and control numbers for each Headmaster’s Presentation.
