In a spin: RGS Table Tennis team

We welcome a new Sport to the RGS Co-curricular calendar this term – Table Tennis. Coached by Sport Graduate Assistant, Mr Fleming, the lunchtime club meets in Tom Savage Hall and offers pupils the opportunity to develop new skills and improve fitness and coordination. Already a popular choice with pupils, the newly formed team are set to take part in competitive Table Tennis fixtures at Bromsgrove School later this month.

Mr Stewart Fleming said: “It has been exciting to see pupils participating in the Table Tennis Club, and members can already see an improvement in their skills and play. This is a great opportunity and I look forward to seeing how this new Sport at RGS Worcester develops.”   

Congratulations to Year Eight pupil Jack Whittington who came Second overall in the Worcestershire County Table Tennis trials and has been selected as a County Player for Worcester.
