Extended Vocabulary: welcoming pupils to the RGS Worcester Language Lab
The Modern Foreign Language Department at RGS Worcester welcomed 40 pupils this week from local primary schools Cherry Orchard Primary and Hollymount School, as well as from RGS Springfield for an interactive and fun Language Outreach event.
Pupils enjoyed a language carousel, sampling two languages with the choice of French, German and Spanish on offer. Continuing with the international theme, pupils then enjoyed a break with snacks such as pretzels, pain au chocolate and churros complete with a chocolate dipping sauce.
Outreach Officer & Assistant Registrar, Mrs Victoria Heath, said: “It was lovely to welcome pupils from the three schools to the RGS Worcester Language Lab for a fun and informative language event, led by Teachers of Modern Foreign Languages at RGS Worcester. The pupils had a really informative and enjoyable time and left both excited and pleased with their newly expanded vocabulary!”
