Excellent First Week
It has been an excellent first week welcoming pupils back to RGS Worcester.
Both new and returning pupils have really enjoyed the week, making new friends and catching up with one another. It is lovely to see pupils and staff reconnecting after the summer holidays and hear the excitement and eagerness as they walk to and from lessons.
It’s such a lovely experience to induct new pupils into Year Seven, the Sixth Form and in other Year groups as well. We asked some of our new Year Seven pupils to reflect on their first week at school and here is what they had to say:
“As soon as I walked into RGS I felt excited.”
“I have really enjoyed all of the lessons so far. All the teachers have been really nice and the lessons have been fun.”
“The School is welcoming and everyone is helpful.”
“I love all of the new experiences. It has been so easy to settle in.”
“I have enjoyed having lots of different lessons and trying to find the way to them all. Also everybody is very helpful and they have showed me the way to everything.”
“I have enjoyed seeing my friends and making new ones.”
“I’m learning a lot of new stuff, and I love the cookies!”
“At least we are getting lost together!”
A very warm welcome to our new teaching staff also, it’s wonderful to see colleagues support each other and the impact they are having so soon.
Best of luck to you all.
