Art Visit to Worcester Cathedral
Lower Sixth artists were pioneers last week. Not only did they take part in the first school trip in the current COVID-19 climate, but they were also welcomed as the first group since ‘lockdown’ to tour Worcester Cathedral. We spent the day visiting the city, seeing areas that were unknown and others that were familiar but viewed through new eyes. The pupils took hundreds of photographs between them and made sketches in preparation for the development of their first Coursework project. We look forward to seeing their ideas progress in the studio over the coming weeks.
Well done to everyone for working so hard, not complaining about step count and behaving impeccably in difficult and new conditions. Our guide at the Cathedral said: “What keen, committed students. A credit to the school.” Need I say more?
