Apple Distinguished School

We are delighted to announce that The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has once again been selected as an Apple Distinguished School. This is in recognition of our continuous innovation in enhancing and enriching our pupil’s learning, teaching, and school environment through our Digital Learning Programme. We are one of now only 689 schools worldwide with this hallmark of continuous innovation.

After a recent visit to RGS Worcester, a representative of ‘The Good Schools Guide’, made it clear just how important the Digital Learning Programme is to our schools – describing it as ‘the real star of the show.’ Referencing the significance of being an Apple Distinguished School and our growing reputation as a global leader in educational technology.

We are delighted that this significant achievement is in place until 2025, allowing us to continue innovating and personalising the learning journeys of our pupils and enhancing their engagement. This is an achievement of which our entire staff and pupils should be exceptionally proud.

Director of Innovation, John Jones, said “This is a fantastic achievement, one that truly recognises the sector-leading work we undertake at the four RGS Schools.  I would like to thank all the Digital Learning Programme Leads & Co-ordinators who took the time to collect and collate evidence from their respective schools and help me put together the re-application. Our Designer, Su Savage, also deserves particular recognition as she masterminded the web resource used in the application.”
