About Our School Council
One of the highlights of the Prep School experience is the School Council. Each form in Year Three to Year Six has a male and female representative at the twice-termly meetings. These provide a forum to encourage pupil voice and responsibility. We are always proud of the thoughtful suggestions made about school life inside and outside of the classroom.
Giving Pupils a Voice
Your child can choose what issues to raise, with food, sport, uniform and trips always popular topics. Recent initiatives resulting from School Council meetings include fundraising for charities, suggestions for new playground equipment and changes to the lunch menu and match teas.
We also have Digital Leaders, Eco Ambassadors, Anti-bullying Ambassadors, Kindness Captains to name but a few of our other pupil-led groups, all working towards giving pupils a voice to make RGS The Grange the very best school it can be.
