☀️💖 A Sunny Morning in Early Years, Celebrating Our Mummies!
This morning, our Nursery and Pre-School children were overjoyed to welcome their Mummies to RGS Dodderhill for a special Mother’s Day celebration. With big smiles, they performed a beautiful song—learned all week and led by our wonderful music teacher, Mrs. Jay-Jones—creating a heartwarming moment for everyone.
After the performance, mummies and children explored our outdoor learning garden, engaging in fun activities like making jewellery, mixing fragrant perfumes, decorating bags, and enjoying a delicious slice of cake. The laughter and creativity filled the air as we celebrated love, learning, and family together.
A truly magical day that created memories to cherish for years to come!

🌳✨ A Magical Adventure in the Enchanted Forest! ✨🧚♀️
This week, our Nursery and Pre-School children joined Ranger Bear on a special quest through the Enchanted Forest at RGS Dodderhill. They set out to find the five mischievous fairies that call Forest School home, and the fun continued as they crafted their own fairy wands using twigs, dried rose petals, and a sprinkle of fairy dust. Soon, the air shimmered with magic as the children pretended to cast spells and sprinkle fairy dust everywhere.
Their adventure ended with a heartwarming moment as they gathered around to watch a beautiful robin, its red chest glowing, inviting them into its magical world.
A day filled with wonder, creativity, and pure joy!

Some of our Year Six pupils had an amazing time taking part in Superball on Saturday! Before the big match, they enjoyed a netball workshop on the court, honing their skills and learning new techniques.
The excitement continued as they cheered on the 1st VII, who went on to lift the Superball trophy!
