Celebrating World Book Day at RGS
This week, pupils immersed themselves in the joy of reading as we celebrated World Book Day with a series of exciting literary activities.
The Library was a hub of activity, with pupils collecting their free World Book Day book and token. The House Quiz brought out competitive spirits as teams put their literary knowledge to the test. Adding an element of excitement, the Book Hide and Seek challenge saw wrapped books hidden around the School, ready to be discovered and kept by lucky finders. To round off the celebrations, the Big Book Swap encouraged pupils to exchange books, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore new stories and share much-loved books.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to the staff who made these events possible. A special mention of thanks must go to Library Supervisor Miss Tustain for organising so many activities for World Book Day. It was wonderful to see pupils across the School engaging with reading, celebrating literature, and discovering new books to enjoy.
