RGS Embraces Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week
This week, The RGS Worcester Family of Schools has marked Anti-Bullying Week, focusing on this year’s theme of ‘Respect’. As part of the event, on Tuesday, we saw the return of Odd Socks Day, a national initiative to promote diversity and raise awareness of anti-bullying efforts.
Activities and discussions have occurred across Form Time and Assemblies throughout Anti-Bullying Week. These initiatives have encouraged pupils to stand up for what is right, reflect on the impact of their choices, and remind them of the importance of reporting any concerns. Additionally, pupils in Years Seven to Ten have launched an inter-House digital poster competition based on the theme of ‘Respect’.
On Odd Socks Day, pupils embraced the chance to show their individuality by wearing various colourful and mismatched socks. The occasion was celebrated in a fun and engaging way, with pupils coming together to support this important cause.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Anti-Bullying Week and supported Odd Socks Day. Your ongoing commitment to promote positivity and respect within The RGS Worcester Family of Schools is greatly appreciated.
