Ana and Niamh’s Half Marathon Challenge for Grace Kelly Trust
On Sunday, Upper Sixth students Ana Nicholls and Niamh Goold will take on the Worcester City Half Marathon to support the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
The Trust was established in memory of Grace Elizabeth Kelly, who passed away in 2014 with a heartfelt wish to help other children. Her legacy continues to inspire the Trust’s mission, which includes funding research into rare childhood cancers, promoting earlier diagnoses, and offering support to families throughout their journey. The Trust believes every child deserves a tomorrow.
Ana and Niamh shared their motivation for this fundraiser, commenting: “This is our School’s Sixth Form charity, and we are grateful for any donations to support this incredible cause. The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust has made a real difference in the lives of many children, and the funds we raise will help the charity continue its vital work.”
The 2024 Worcester City Runs Weekend celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exciting lineup, including the Worcester City 10K and Half Marathon on Sunday morning, with 4,000 runners expected to participate over the weekend.
Ana and Niamh said, “We are so excited to run the half marathon for such an amazing charity. It’s a fun challenge for a wonderful cause.”
