✨ Year Six Taster Morning at RGS Worcester!
Today, our Year Six pupils had the chance to experience a glimpse of life at RGS Worcester, diving into an exciting range of activities as part of their second transition event this term:
🔬 Science: Hands-on experiments with Bunsen burners, microscopes, and more.
🚀 DT: Designing and testing rocket-propelled cars.
🎮 IT: Coding adventures within Minecraft.
🎨 Art: Crafting vibrant collages of faces.
PE: Trying multi sports and enjoying first time in the gym.
🎵 Music: Ending the day with a fun-filled session in Perrins Hall.
After enjoying a delicious lunch in the Main Hall, the pupils left inspired, curious, and excited for the future. Thanks to the RGS Worcester prefects who led our sessions and spent time with us at lunch. 🌟👏 #RGSTheGrange #YearSix #TasterMorning #RGSWorcester #LearningAdventures
🎤✨ What a Day to Remember! Our Year Six Senior Choir had the incredible opportunity to perform at a special event at The Royal Albert Hall in aid of Barnardo’s, alongside other schools from across the country.
🎶 Highlights included:
✨ Singing a mix of musical and pop songs, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
🌟 A surprise guest appearance from Heather Small, with the choir joining her for an unforgettable rendition of ‘Proud’.
From a 6.30 am start to arriving home at 12.30 am, it was a long but thrilling day. After two exciting rehearsals, a delicious Pizza Express tea, and a magical walk back to the venue in the dark, the big performance at the Royal Albert Hall was simply spectacular.
A huge thank you to the parents who supported this unforgettable experience, and congratulations to our wonderful choir for making us all so proud! 🌟👏

🇫🇷 Teaching the Teachers! Last week, our Year Six Language Ambassadors took on the role of French teachers, helping Madame Cantin introduce Reception children to French colours! 🎨✨
They designed their own activities, games, and resources, making the lessons fun and interactive. The Ambassadors were absolutely brilliant, and Madame Cantin is convinced she might soon be out of a job… Sacré bleu! 😄👏
